General description of the project type and size
Citnalta together with its subcontractors constructed an architecturally striking 4,500 square foot boathouse that can accommodate kayaks, canoes and other small non-motorized vessels.
Description of scope of work
Construction of Pier 96 Boathouse included a distinctive sloping roof and sloping dock made of zinc to ensure it is both long-lasting and environmentally friendly. The Building’s interior and exterior received wood paneling and deck made of reusable tropical hardwood. The 4,500-square-foot boathouse was built to hold 130 kayaks/canoes and has a boat repair workshop plus offices and restrooms, large sliding panels, which provide natural ventilation.
