Congratulations to our team at PS 196Q! They received their Temporary Certificate of Occupancy (TCO) on August 29, 2022 which now allows teachers and staff to move into the school’s new addition.
Initially awarded to Citnalta in 2019, this project involved building a new four-story and subcellar addition to the existing school as well as some upgrades to the older building, such as signage, new digital video surveillance, and connections to the existing fire alarm and signal systems. The team also completed site improvements to the sidewalks, play area paving, entry stairs, equipment pads, fencing, planting, retaining walls, curbs, and play equipment. Great work, team!
